Byondis is an independent Dutch biopharmaceutical company, based in Nijmegen, that focuses on developing innovative medicines against cancer and autoimmune diseases. We are driven by one goal: to develop new treatments to improve the standard of care for patients.
Your new role:
As a Senior Scientist in the Biomarker Discovery and Development (BDD) Department you will help drive our biomarker and drug development efforts in immuno-oncology. You will be responsible for defining and executing biomarker strategies in early proof-of-concept clinical trials of novel therapeutic candidates. Leveraging your expertise in disease and drug target biology, you will drive the development of a diverse array of biomarker assays used to confirm drug target engagement, understand mechanisms of action, and monitor patient responses.
This is a cross-functional role that involves close interaction with colleagues from various disciplines including in vitro and in vivo Pharmacology, Bioanalytics, Bioinformatics, Clinical Development, and Regulatory Affairs as well as with external vendors.
Success in this role requires a thorough understanding of immunology, oncology disease biology, and the development of biomarker strategies in a pharmaceutical or biotech setting.
